Shamita and Avinash's Engagement Party at The Ritz Carlton

At Kirkbrides, we typically stick to planning and designing weddings only, but on October 20, 2012 we had the pleasure of seeing our plans come to fruition for a Hindu Engagement Event! It was definitely as nice as any wedding we work on and I had to keep reminding myself they weren't actually getting married that day! We worked with this couple for the entire year, and enjoyed connecting with Joe at Something New Floral on this as well (made a great new vendor friend and connection!). We dressed up the Riverview Room at the Ritz Carlton and I loved seeing all of the traditions that go into this monumental first step of the wedding process in Shamita and Avinash's culture.
