When given the opportunity to create your own photoshoot and let your imagination and creativity run wild, it is hard to focus on one particular look, especially when your vision includes a Disney Princess- a girl's dream! With so many beautiful and fun princess story lines, it was hard to choose just one! But after working in the past with an amazing family at their private residence to plan an outdoor reception, the grounds of the property inspired me: Rapunzel! The property was perfect for the deep woodland, rustic, Rapunzel-style.

With a remarkable location chosen, it was time to bring the design to life. With a group of A-team vendors we did just that! First, we needed a beautiful blonde model with long golden hair. Rachael Adamic was the perfect choice! She looked the Rapunzel part in a gorgeous dress from The Dress Bridal Boutique and hair done by Haley Delzani of Lather. The final touch was makeup by Lindsay London, who created a natural, beautiful look.

Arne from Plantscaping and Blooms created stunning floral pieces that represented the Rapunzel concept perfectly. Whimsical vines, multiple purple tone flowers and pink flowers created the overall feel of this magical story line. With a high top rustic table from Event Source, the floral pieces were able to cascade down the table just like Rapunzel’s hair.  The chargers, flatware, napkins and glassware chosen from Event Source also helped to pull in the German flare of this fairytale.

And what is a Disney Princess-themed dinner party without a stunning cake? Luna Bakery created an amazing three tiered, partially naked cake that was fit for royalty! The cake was displayed in front of a stained glass window in Rapunzel’s tower and was decorated in flowers that flowed down the cake and draped the table. The cake table popped with beautiful magenta linen.

Rapunzel and her dinner guests all had an assigned seating at this event with unique place cards that hung from the back of their chairs, written out in beautiful hand calligraphy by Janine of Kirkbrides. Emily Millay Photography captured all of these fun details and more. She brought this story and look to life with her stunning photos! This shoot was a dream come true that completely captured my vision and I couldn’t have done it without the talent of these amazing vendors!

Our giveaway for this styled shoot is a beautiful handcrafted scented soy candle crafted in Rapunzel's tower in the kingdom of Corona - err we mean Cleveland - from Furbish & Fire!  Go to our Facebook page and be the first to like, comment AND share the post to win!
