I received a call from Beth, mother of the bride, on a spring day about 18 months prior to this wedding. She had been referred to us from numerous families in her circle of friends whose weddings we have planned. As soon as we met, the three of us (bride, mom and myself) hit if off right away! I have to point out that this family is one of the kindest and heartfelt families I have ever had the privilege of working with. The people I meet through this job continue to be such a blessing.
Sarah and Nate met as young children, as their parents have been friends for years and years! For her wedding, Sarah was inspired by the beauty of the French countryside. We utilized many pictures over the year and a half of planning focusing on kraft paper style, garden floral tablescapes, lush bouquets, decadent dessert tables, stunning favors and decor for every room of the club.
As we had a lot to decorate, there were a lot of decisions to be made. First, at the church we went with classic lush white hydrangea to adorn the aisles. The initial wreathes hanging on the church doors were a magical addition to this wedding! At the country club for the reception, we used a combo of large farm tables for the head table decked out with a lush arrangement of floral form The Budding Tree. A special aspect of this celebration was that years earlier, Sarah's parents celebrated their own nuptials at the same club, with Nate's parents in attendance! Seeing them sitting in front of that huge bay window looking out to the club's top notch golf course was nothing short of magical!
Our place settings with custom kraft menu bags from Sobella Paper Boutique and Blue Envelope Boutique with silver chargers from L'nique added a beautiful touch to a classic wedding day. As the guests moved into the living room for dessert and dancing, the lighting and band stage decor set the tone for a lively evening. This dessert table, cake and pink petal and peony linen combo is one of my favorites! The pink petal linen from L'nique definitely speaks to my heart.:)
A huge heartfelt highlight of the wedding included having Sarah's brother walk her sisters down the aisle. They were so excited to be the honorary "flower girls" and I am pretty sure there was not a dry eye in the sanctuary that day. It was truly one of the most special and heartwarming moments I have experienced at a wedding. It exemplifies pure love and the strength of a wonderful family.

Good morning Valarie,
I wanted to send you a quick
note while we wait for our flight to Italy. Nate and I had the most
amazing day on Saturday thanks to you (and please thank your team). The
day could not have been any more perfect. You were such an amazing
support system and provided such wonderful guidance throughout our last
year and a half. We are so appreciative of all that you did to make our
wedding day so special.
I wanted to let you
know that we received the best compliments from all of our friends and
family, letting us know that it was one of the nicest weddings that they
have ever been to. Everything from the food to the decorations to the
music (boy did everyone love the band!!!!)... And for that we will be
forever grateful to you and the amazing vendors that we worked with.
You
have played such a special role in our lives over the last year and a
half and I'm sad that it is all over but can't wait to officially thank
you for all of your hard work. It was literally the best day of our
lives!
I hope you are able to get some rest
and we wish you all of the best. I have an "official" thank you note
that I'll get in the mail when we get home but didn't want to leave
without profusely thanking you!
