Nothing better shapes an epic New Year’s Eve celebration
like a classic glitz and glam wedding full of opulent grandeur at one of
Cleveland’s most celebrated venues – The
Hyatt at the Arcade!
Working with Brynn to achieve her stunning wedding was a
blast – every single detail was perfectly planned and executed to create her
dream New Year’s Eve affair. Mixed metals were the décor backbone, achieved by
using stunning sequined linens in gold, silver and blush as well as rich table
top accessories and magnificent floral décor.
Many brides forget the importance of stationery – yet it’s
always my favorite piece to really bring the entire wedding look together so I
was glad Brynn felt the same! With Rebecca at Blue Envelope we worked in the theme of time by using clocks on the
save the date, menus and monogram. The invitations were stunning and over the
top. The place card tags tied to individual blow horns were so fun and looked
amazing displayed on that beautiful, monogrammed gold table!
As guests entered the Arcade for cocktail hour, they were
greeted by an elaborate ice scripture, tasty hors d’oeuvres and perfectly
wrapped gifts (curated by a friend of Brynn's family) under the famous Arcade
tree. Guests mingled and enjoyed the music of the strolling sax player, Dave Sterner. Much attention was put
into Brynn’s tabletop décor. Specialty glassware, chargers and china adorned
the glistening tables. The full, rich centerpieces literally took breath away
(I heard it happen over a dozen times) and each table had its own new year’s
resolution. Two stunning mirrored tables from All Occasions flanked the dance floor to add intrigue to the space.
Brynn and Bryon’s sweetheart table was designed for royalty with a stunning,
glimmering backdrop, and opulently draped tabletop.
It being New Years Eve, Rock
The House ran a live feed throughout the evening and guests dined and
danced the night away. TKO kept the
dance floor packed as guests anticipated midnight. In the moments leading to
the new year, champagne was passed and 2017 was greeted with the most epic
confetti drop that guests and the bride and groom will not soon forget! When
the night ended there had to have been a few inches of confetti on the dance floor! What a dream team of
vendors, especially with Jason Crocker
Photography and Candy Apple Films who perfectly captured the images and energy of the evening!
