If you love a dreamy color palette and lush florals, Kate and Doug's wedding fulfills all of the requirements! When Kate and her mom mentioned that they loved flowers and ideally, wanted a tented wedding, I knew spectacular was going to be an adjective for our future conversations! Kirtland Country Club was the backdrop of this magnificent wedding. With plans for an indoor ceremony, we could create an amazing floral wonderland of blush tones and hints of burgundy. The venue's chandeliers were dripping with flowers along with the beautiful banister. The piece de resistance was the floral wall backdrop that still makes my heart go pitter patter. Guests were then ushered in to a beautifully decorated cocktail hour with rented lounge furniture and a hedge for our place card display. The weather this past summer was a bit volatile so our plans for an outdoor cocktail hour had to be changed but I was so pleased with the way the furniture and blush linens looked together. It felt like it was always supposed to be that way.

For our reception, a clear span tent was erected with a billowy liner and crystal chandeliers. We wanted a very light, airy feeling with creme linens, a white dance floor and gold accents. The reception had almost a regal feel with monogrammed stationery details. The evening was filled with unexpected surprises, after what seemed like a hurricane, the skies parted and we invited guests outside to see a fabulous fireworks display, which was a gift to Kate and Doug from Kate's parents. When guests returned to the tent, an ice cream bar had been set up with a local favorite ice cream shop. This wedding had every last component for a perfect evening!
