Kelsey and Matt’s classic, natural wedding at The Country Club was more than a wedding – it was an interactive experience!

Kelsey’s vision was so refreshing and fun – she embraced classic influences but wanted to insert unique and fun touches to make the entire day comfortable, easy and enjoyable for her guests.

Working with Blooms by Plantscpaing to bring together Kelsey’s floral vision was a dream.  From the beautiful centerpieces to the hanging orchid chandelier the Club was adorned with sumptuous floral pieces.

As guests arrived at the Club, they enjoyed cocktail hour on the patio with a lovely boxwood photo backdrop designed by the florist.  The cigar bar, a surprise for the Groom, was a hit!  No party is complete without an oversized Veuve bottle, popped by the father of the bride!

We dressed up the dinner tables with Bentwood chairs from Borrow and a variety of charger plates, linens, napkins and glassware – the room was glistening with décor as guests entered.

As guests moved from the dinner portion of the evening to dancing and merriment in the Living Room they passed through what we named “the hallway of desserts” complete with a donut wall, assortments of mini pastries from Luna, and Piccadilly ice cream!  There were even two wedding cakes – one traditional, and one Bumpy Cake, the Groom’s favorite!

I loved all of the green touches from the gorgeous stationery down to the sugar cookies in the dessert hallway - a subtle nod to the Bride and Groom's alma mater, Michigan State.

The Bride loves Christmas, so we brought a little holiday cheer to the August evening with Christmas ornaments that each guest signed for the Bride and Groom’s first Christmas Tree.

Barrio Taco Truck arrived as the evening was winding down so guests could have one last bite before sending the Bride and Groom off with sparklers.  Each detail was perfectly captured by the remarkable Hunter Harrison.  Be sure to check out the video from The Image in Motion to have your own interactive experience with Kelsey and Matt’s wedding!
