It was a pleasure working with Genevieve of Genevieve Nisly Photography to start up this inspiration photo shoot for Style me Pretty, a fabulous wedding inspiration website that we are both members of! Our team soon came together and on July 20 we got to create OUR day! We kept mentioning how funny it felt without all the emotions of a real wedding day. We had such a great time and top notch credit goes out to Heather from Heatherlily Floral and Event Design for her fabulous design work on the tablescape, hanging glass candle balls and furniture. I already have brides asking for these glass candles, Heather!
A few images below, but you must go to Style me Pretty's site to see the full gallery!
You MUST take a short break from your day and watch this beautiful video that Brian from 2nd Mile Productions put together of the features and inner workings of our shoot. He is very talented at picking out just the perfect song and getting all of the coordinated pics from Genevieve and video effects just right.

I was very excited to learn of the amazing details of Randi and Jon's July 17th wedding. Randi and Jon's passion for purple was displayed beautifully in the gorgeous lighting, plum pintuck linens, silver chiavaris and gorgeous purple and green flowers provided by Heather from Heatherlily Floral. Even the cake by Michael Angelo's was full of just the right amount of sparkle!
The details of the wedding were a planner's dream. Not one element had been forgotten. Even the candy bar was loaded with the color purple. Jon described in his speech at the reception how every day a new box of candy arrived at their home from Fed Ex and he really thought they were becoming Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory! Their candy fancy paid off because the candy bar was a huge hit and guests surrounded the table the entire night. The candy bar was a perfect representation of the couple's wonderful sense of humor and love of life. It was obvious that they really wanted to take care of their guests and make everyone feel included. There were lots of kids at the wedding who enjoyed the candy bar and danced the night away with their families. I feel very lucky to have been included in the planning of their special day. I wish Randi and Jon a lifetime of "sweet" memories!
Note from Randi to Valarie:
I wanted to mention to you how wonderful Allison has been. It has been a pleasure working with her and would recommend her to others. I know she will make next weekend wonderful...even if it thunderstorms :)
