To say I made a special connection with Jeannine and her family is an understatement! As I find myself saying many times over the years of doing this special job, Jeannine and I connected so well and became great friends throughout the planning process. Jeannine was referred to me by several different people (one of my current brides at the time, as well as her venue, so she thought it was meant to be that we work together!). I was lucky enough during Jeannine's planning to join her sister Annemarie on her wedding as well, so that post will come later.
For Jeannine and Sean's wedding, we decided on a "light" theme using soft pink, champagne and ivory. I felt the mixture of the newness of the chairs and the vintage atmosphere of the Silver Grille at the Ritz Carlton was magical. Rock the House again provided us with amazing lighting and drapery. I absolutely loved our lighting patterns used on the ceremony drapery as well as in the cocktail hour. I was fortunate to work with Arne of Blooms by Plantscaping on the design for this wedding who we also involved in the lighting concepts. As you can see, all of the five centerpieces we used all had elements of light in them! The ceremony decor was unbelievably beautiful! We were able to use it again for the reception to display our exquisite wedding cake from Luna Bakery.
After guests witnessed a beautiful and heartfelt ceremony, they headed downstairs to the cocktail area where we had a beautiful white banquette couch waiting for them to sit on and get their candid picture taken just like a red carpet event! These printed pictures were laid out for them to take home later as their favor, along with a Something old, Something new, Something borrowed and Something blue chocolate table that I have wanted to use at a wedding for a long time!
This was an amazing wedding for wonderful people who I will always feel honored to have been a part of the plans. I just wish they had another sister who was getting married! Their wedding was also featured as a real wedding in Weddings in Cleveland Magazine, and at this time we are waiting on one more exciting publication to be announced at a later date!
Congratulations Jeannine and Sean!!!
