You know your job is cut out for you as wedding planner when the hashtag for the day is #weddingofthegods! Lisa and Ryan are both medical doctors and Ryan's nickname at the hospital is "Dr. God". I guess there will be two Dr. Gods now at the hospital!
But did the day ever live up to the hashtag; it was simply divine!! My favorite moment of the day: when Lisa walked down that amazing marble staircase at the Old Courthouse. We had been keeping the song a secret from Ryan, because Lisa wanted to surprise him. When the theme song to Friday Night Lights kicked in, and Lisa came down that staircase on her father's arm... the look on Ryan's face... that moment was indescribable. It's why I love this job!!
This wedding day was full of gorgeous decor details as well: stationery for guests to leave their "prescriptions for love", bold striped runners that infused the room with a modern twist, a white and gold balloon wall photobooth backdrop, special sequin linens shipped in from Chicago... The list goes on and on! A huge thank you to our dream team of vendors for making these details come to life!! Enjoy these beautiful photos from our friends at Genevieve Nisly!

Talk about an amazing Christmas wedding to attend! Christine and Jeremy left no detail untouched as we creatively planned their December 27, 2013 wedding not only in decor touches but also in succinct logistics planning. We worked hard to make sure our Renaissance Ambassador ballroom wedding ceremony started at just the right time to allow guests to attend cocktail hour part 1 in the beautiful Renaissance hotel lobby, then hop on a shuttle to go to our ornamental sparkle decorated Windows on the River Cityview room for cocktail hour part 2! This was such a heartlifting and festive wedding to work on with the nicest bride and groom!
Best wishes to Christine and Jeremy!!!! Thank you for the heartfelt thank you sentiments! (at the end of the post)
What's more, it was so nice seeing 2 groups of fellow Kirkbrides clients at this wedding, as well as getting acquainted with another Windows on the River bride while we were setting up (who turned into a new client for our team too!).
P.S. I'm still obsessed with the ceremony backdrop! Check it out below in the pics courtesy of Marisa at Marisan Photography!
