Working with a couple like Erin and Matt is a planner’s
dream! Erin had a very clear vision in
mind and helping her plan her flight-themed wedding was an honor! It was the
logistics of Matt’s career in the military, however, that complicated the plans
a bit. Due to training uncertainties,
the date for Erin and Matt’s wedding was not even set until 3 months before the
big day!
When May 2 arrived, all of the plans were in place and it
was sunny and 70 degrees – perfect for an outdoor ceremony overlooking the
Cuyahoga River! A friend of the couple played the cello as Erin greeted her
groom against the beautiful backdrop of the Cleveland city skyline. And, of course, no military wedding is complete
without the saber arch!
After the ceremony, guests moved inside to the River View
Room for cocktails, dinner and dancing. From
the glow sticks (a tribute to the night Erin and Matt met) to the airplane
table names and specialty stationery designed by Emily from Ting, every detail
of the evening was personalized and unique.
Even the bridesmaids wore custom, handmade skirts! Erin from The Budding Tree created beautiful
floral décor incorporating colors from Matt’s Air Force uniform. Kevin from The DJ Crew kept the dance floor
packed through the last song! Erin and
Matt’s love for each other is truly palpable in the gorgeous photos by Angela
and Jen of Aster and Olive. Thank you to
an amazing vendor team for executing every detail of Erin and Matt’s amazing
wedding day! Congrats Erin and Matt!
Thank you note:
Katie,
I don’t think there
are words to describe how thankful I am that we had you as our wedding
planner. From the very beginning, you
have exceeded my expectations. You have
been reliable, helpful, encouraging, honest, and an absolute joy to work
with. I feel like you are my fairy
godmother making all my dreams come true.
I can only imagine how stressful your job is, but just know that what
you have done for me will never be forgotten.
When I think about and talk about my wedding, you will always be one of the
best parts. Thank you from the bottom of
my heart.
Love,
Erin
P.S. If you can plan a
wedding in seven months with a client in Mississippi and an uncertain date
because of the military, you can do anything.

Janine and Spencer definitely had one of the most fun weddings of all time! The weather was phenomenal for an Ohio Saturday in May. We started out with our beautiful outdoor ceremony on the golf course with guests ushered to their seats by golf cart, and celebrated the newlyweds in the huge tent that Quail Hollow has on site. Grande Designs added the festive lighting and Tricky Dick and the Cover-ups were complete show stoppers. A Pittsburgh tradition, the cookie table had over 1,000 cookies on display for guests to enjoy! And what about those fun LOVE light letters? The personalized sunglass favors were a huge hit for fun on the dancefloor and the night was topped off with a visit from the Swenson's food truck for a late night snack!
Congrats Janine and Spencer! What a pleasure it was working with you!
