Warm, summer weddings are simply my thing. The heat and sunshine of the day just feels like love to me and Kate and Brennan had one of those yummy summer days when you know the kiddies are running to the nearest pool with inflatables in hand. Kate's parents have a magnificent home for such a day like this with land for miles and a picturesque pond and inviting large porch. It was a perfect place for the girls to gather to get ready and take photos before heading to their lovely venue.
The Blair Center was the perfect mix of indoor and outdoor. Our ceremony was in their beautifully lined tent with a reception that overlooked the beautiful golf course. Every time I visited this tiny town, I felt myself making excuses to hang around just a bit longer. It was like a town out of a story book.
For our decor, Kate wanted to incorporate some rustic elements in to the wedding to contrast the country club feel of the venue. We added farm tables, rustic wood boxes for the muted floral with that just picked look. Our simply elegant cake rested on a custom wood pedestal as well. Kate's AMAZING blush dress was the perfect compliment to every detail.
Most of all, family first was the theme of the day. These families evoked the real meaning of marriage. It was such an honor to be a part of their fun planning and the beautiful day that resulted from it!

Anna was truly a princess bride. So classic, elegant and timeless. Anna and Bryan chose the Kirtland Country Club for their beautiful hydrangea purple and sage green garden styled wedding. Most of the guests came from out of town, and were enchanted with the magical grounds of one of our favorite country clubs. With accents such as the elaborate cookie table, the vintage rentals from Borrow, and our custom designed large boards for the seating, menu and program, the day was just spectacular. It was quite a crazy weather day with moving the ceremony decor 3 different times! But the day really turned out well for these two and their families. Congratulations Anna and Bryan!

Carrie and Vish came to me as a referral from one of our past clients and as soon as I heard some of the details of what they wanted to do, I was beyond excited to begin work with them on the plans!
Carrie is a very creative and visual person and her idea was to go for an Organic Garden Party wedding style. Taking place on summer solstice day, Carrie and Vish incorporated so many stunningly beautiful ideas into their festive wedding day. We started off with a tent with a clearspan center for our guest count of 400 to show the gorgeous sky during summer solstice time. This wasn't revealed until the reception and it was quite a surprise for guests who didn't see the clear top during the ceremony (because we had it draped off!).
I would definitely say that the colorful floral was the center of our styling for the day, and Kew Floristry did not disappoint! Being long time family friends of Carrie's family, they knew just the right combination of colors and styles that she would love to see on the day. We all love a bride who is not afraid to incorporate color into her day, don't we?!! If you take a close look, you can see that the floral on the stationery matches the real floral exactly!
Who can miss that cake? The gals at Luna executed the vision exactly as Carrie dreamed of and there were so many comments and pictures by guests amazed at how they ever fit that many flowers on a cake to make such an edible piece of art!
Congratulations Carrie and Vish! It was such an amazing opportunity to work with you and help plan and coordinate this unforgettable wedding day!
