Another fall wedding in the books for Kirkbrides! Its no
wonder this time of year is popular with so many couples in the Cleveland area-
the air is crisp, leaves are falling and gorgeous jewel tones can be used in
all décor and details! We love autumn just as much as our brides do!
The Country Club in Pepper Pike is a stunning venue not only
for a reception but for a ceremony, too! This was the case for Nicole and Jan’s
October wedding. As guests entered the club, a spectacular four
tier white wedding cake with emerald green accents created by White Flower Bakery
was on display. This cake was one of the many beautiful features throughout the
wedding that included the green color. It was a beautiful ceremony with amazing white floral décor
and an arch constructed by Blooms by Plantscaping. And how cute are the flower girl and ring bearer?!
As guests entered the ballroom, gorgeous gold could be found
on the table linens provided by L’nique. Lighting from Rock the House and music
from DJ Ted from TKO set the mood for dinner and then completely transformed
the space for after-dinner dancing! As everyone danced the night away on the
checkered dance floor from Event Source, Scott from Candy Apple Films captured
all of the fun on video! Jonathon from New Image stole the bride and groom at
this point for photos at the groom’s private home in Gates Mills. These
pictures not only show how much Nicole and Jan love each other but also showcase
the stunning residence and grounds of the family home!
As the night came to an end, guests were invited to take
some really unique favors- mini bottles of bacon and habanero vodka! We’re sure
friends and family enjoyed that well after the party ended! Nicole and Jan
exited the Country Club through a sparkler send-off tunnel and rode off in a
Rolls Royce provided by A-1 Mr. Limo. This was the perfect ending to a fun and
elegant October wedding day!

Valentine's Day 2015 was the day of one of the worst snowstorms I have ever driven in. However, it did not stop Amy & Tim's wedding from being an amazing, memorable, beautiful and fun-filled evening. You would never know that the mother of the bride and I basically carried Amy into the shuttle and out of the shuttle to get into the Union Club because of all the snow. You would also never know they closed down a bunch of the freeways and roads during this day because all of the vendors and guests made it on time and everyone was happy and smiling!
I already knew Amy from her time as a bridesmaid in two weddings I planned in the past, so it was super exciting to hear from her when she got engaged to begin helping her with the Valentine's day wedding plans. She wanted romance and a few elegant touches of the holiday but not overly themed. I think we pulled it off! Another really fun aspect of this wedding is that Amy's dear dad wanted to bring in a surprise for the guests. He and Amy's mom love traveling and listening to 60's groups. We worked on booking The Vogues, a hit group from the 60's with hits such as Five O'Clock World (they used to play on the Drew Carey Show), My Special Angel and Turn Around Look at Me. At the beginning of the Father Daughter dance, Amy's dad stopped the DJ from playing the song and said instead, he decided to bring The Vogues in live to play it for his dance with his daughter. The band walked in and performed for a bit and all of the guests were surprised and elated! What an amazing wedding moment and memory.
Congratulations Amy and Tim! It was so wonderful working with you and wish you lots of love and many years of romantic wedding anniversaries on Valentine's Day!
