I will never forget the look on Ciera's face in January 2013 as we entered the Old Courthouse for the first time while scouting venues. I knew she was in love, with the venue and with Melvin, and this was to be our location to plan a gorgeous elegant wedding for the next 18 months! Once again we had a really fun family to work with! We also had a ring bearer dog, Pepe, who is Ciera and Melvin's own! He does not like to walk on marble floors so the aisle runner was key in the prep for this wedding! All of our vendors were wonderful and the Courthouse looked incredible with the jewel tones Ciera picked to decorate the lovely venue. Our friend Scott at Easywind Studio provided us with these gorgeous photos (always so great working with him - going on 8 years now!) and Leigh Zeidner created one of my favorite wedding videos of all time! I have watched it many times and always tear up. Congratulations Ciera and Melvin (and Pepe!)!!! We are so happy for you and loved working with you!

It was truly a pleasure to work with Valarie and her team at
Kirkbrides! Due to our jobs, my husband and I travel quite often so it
was important that we had a wedding planner on the ground that would
keep us organized, on-track, and provide a sense of creativity that we
both lacked. From our first meeting with Valarie we immediately knew
that she was well experienced and had so many great ideas to offer. We
engaged her roughly 16 months before our wedding date and she was more
than prepared to hit the ground running and turn our unrefined wedding
ideas into a beautiful reality. Throughout the entire process Valarie
was flexible and willing to answer any questions we had, including those
that came in the form of panicked emails after over thinking minute
details. She always had a way of calming me down and making the decision
process smooth.
Valarie has a great relationship with so many vendors in the
Cleveland area so it was no issue for her to quickly connect us with
respectable vendors who aligned with our wedding vision and most
importantly our budget! My husband and I could not be happier with the
vendors we ultimately selected and the services they provided on our big
day. Speaking of the big day, it was so effortless for us and our
wedding party. Valarie and her team did such an excellent job preparing
for the event and ensuring it went smoothly. Everyone was so impressed
with how organized our wedding was and how helpful Valarie and her team
were the day of. Everyone, especially our guests, were also very
impressed with how everything turned out decor wise. Valarie brought
some great ideas to the table that turned out beautifully! We are still
receiving compliments months later!
I would absolutely recommend Valarie and Kirkbrides to anyone planning a wedding in Northeast Ohio area!

This wedding was just all around enjoyable and amazing! Yes, the pictures and video show nothing short of beautiful in every inch, however it's the people who really made this wedding stand out as super awesome. We had such a fun and kind group of people to work with this day - bride, groom, families and our vendor friends all included! What more can I say? We are always greeted like old friends by the staff at the Ritz Carlton Cleveland and that also made this wedding day a breeze! From the heartfelt ceremony by Dana Cummings to the red carpet, champagne and step and repeat photobooth entrance to the cocktail hour, to the absolutely perfect "on the beat" bridal party announcements by DJ Smoov (to "It Takes Two" by Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock) to the packed non-stop dance floor all evening, it was truly a 5 star affair. Congratulations Kristin & Phil!!! Love you guys and thanks for the awesome review!

I am so blessed to have Valarie as my wedding planner. I would like
to explain how amazing she is!! When we first started our journey she
was pregnant and was unsure if she could take me on and as a bride from
out of state I was lost already. I emailed her back and she sent me
recommendations of other local planners!! I mean come on! At the end we
knew it was just meant to be. She knows her stuff!! There is no bluff or
pushing you into only her vendors and many people will try to tell you
that planners will do. She is a great guide for you and soon she will
know you so well that she knows the decision you will make. She makes
sure the wedding is about you.
There is no better feeling then calling places and when you drop your wedding planners name they talk about how much they love her and how lucky I am. She just makes life easier. She stays in your budget and will suggest better solutions to get what you want, but not at the cost of it being cheap. I live in NYC and planning a wedding in Cleveland is not easy, but Valarie was the best wedding planner any bride could ask for. I gained a friend from the experience. I know I don't know any other wedding planners, but she is by far the BEST!

With gorgeous weather shining on a tent situated on the banks of Lake Erie in Ashtabula paired with a fantastic team of vendors, Katie and Keith's wedding day was almost as lovely as the couple! Having lived in New York City, Katie worked with Grande Designs to create centerpieces reminiscent of the concrete jungle - hand made concrete vessels enclosing soft and simple white arrangements.
Be Seated provided a custom bar and lounge furniture and when the dueling pianos played during cocktail hour, guests were transported to a NYC piano bar. The Cake designed by Charity of The Cake Loft displayed the vast NYC skyline. We were so happy to work with Nathan and his team from Imagen to capture all of the fun details of this wedding and of course the love between this beautiful couple.
