It was a warm summer day when I met Charlotte and her mom, Kitty at their beautiful venue, Fieldcrest of North Canton. I found out right away that Charlotte's family was from Alliance, Ohio and we quickly had a connection because I am an alumni of Mount Union University! They had plans for a big, tent wedding and needed help bringing it all together.
Charlotte is a librarian which always makes me laugh because she is not at all what you think of when you think of a stereotypical librarian. Her husband Tim is also a handsome guy! Living in Chicago at the time, Charlotte had a busy schedule and Kitty and I became close email buddies over the planning process.
We had such fun with the details for the tent and the surrounding property. Ryan and his team at Rock the House spent countless hours creating our lighting plan which included fairy balls which are tiny balls of light that we scattered all over the lawn. Bernie and Andy from Grande Designs, created beautiful floral centerpieces that created just the right amount of color in the tent, crafted by the tent master Scott Pickel with Everything Tented. I have to give a pat on the back to everyone who worked on wedding day because it just so happened to be one those 110 degree days with 100% humidity. Luckily guests enjoyed a cool cocktail hour inside the lodge and by the time they headed out to the tent, the temperature had come down quite a bit. The highlight of the evening and Tim's favorite part was our cigar bar. It was a huge hit.
Charlotte and Tim's wedding was the party of the year to say the least with amazing music from 56 Daze! I had so much fun creating a beautiful wedding for this sweet couple!

A few pics taken by the Kirkbrides team that night (don't judge our iphone photography skills):
Driving to Meagan and Tyler's wedding was a bit of a challenge...Meagan wanted extra large pink and white balloons for her pictures and driving in a regular four door car with three massive balloons was quite a challenge but I was over the moon about their amazing wedding plans and determined to make it to the venue.
With only four short months to plan their August 10th wedding, Meagan and Tyler were a breeze. I had an absolute blast working with them and Meagan's lovely parents. They decided right away (okay, we had to decide everything right away!) on the beautiful Club at Key Center. With it's unique barrell ceiling, it made a wonderful backdrop for their ceremony and reception. Pink was the color of the day of course! Meagan and Tyler had a very thoughtful ceremony including a foot washing which was a very respectful and touching ceremony addition. The unique details continued on to the reception with a hula hoop contest and a special kids room complete with crayons, video games and shirley temples.
It is obvious that this couple came from wonderful parents who taught them to think of others first. I feel truly blessed to know them and to be a part of their most special day! Brightside Photography captured these beautiful images and The Budding Tree did a beautiful job with their floral. Meagan's bouquet has flowers tucked in from her mom's home garden! What a special touch.

Molly and Craig were married on a classic, summer June day in Cleveland. Molly was an absolute gorgeous bride who I had the pleasure of working with for almost a year leading to her champagne, pink, sparkle and family focused wedding day!
When Molly was 5 years old (forgive me if I'm off a year or two), she turned on the lights for the first time at Massimo da Milano. Her grandparents own and run the restaurant and the picture still hangs near the front door. It was a special day on June 16, 2012 when her grandpa finally got to see his granddaughter have her own wedding reception in his restaurant! It was a treat to work with this family on all of the plans - not only Molly, her mom and sister, but also their entire family!
Our beautiful pictures were taken by Dan and April O'Keefe with Z Media photography! Other awesome vendors for this wedding included Lowe's Greenhouse for the gorgeous flowers, Rock the House for lighting, Luna for cake and Sobella Paper Boutique for our custom stationery, Kreate Studio for hair styles and Ramona Dauksa for makeup!
Congratulations to Molly and Craig and hope to see you soon at another wedding!!! I know you will love these pictures as I receive many comments from brides interested in a very similar color and style scheme!
