Every time I look at Adrianne and Tom's pictures, I get this big cheesy smile. I just adore them and their amazing venue, Quarry Hill Winery which happens to also be their family home and winery. This setting was picture perfect....complete with a beautifully restored farmhouse, a lovely little white church, vineyards as far as the eye can see and a gentle giant, Golden Retriever named Rudy who gingerly greeted everyone. It was like coming home again and I can see why no one would want to leave! I surely didn't!
This wasn't the first wedding for this couple. Their first wedding took place in Indonesia where Tom's family is from and their second wedding took place in Canada where they now reside. The United States was the third and final wedding for this couple! No wonder they were so relaxed. They had plenty of practice!
Abby of Mary Wyar Photography took relaxed family and bridal party pictures at the farmhouse and then everyone casually drove to the ceremony. After a beautiful and intimate ceremony, guests drove just a couple of miles to the white tent on the property for a night of dinner and dancing. The delicious food was provided by the talented staff of Spice of Life Caterers and the guests enjoyed the musical stylings of Jack Garrett, a Frank Sinatra style crooner. Rain evaded us all day until everyone was safely in the tent and afterwards a beautiful rainbow appeared in the sky. It was a truly wonderful day!

I find many of my clients oohing and aahing over the charm of mixing the rustic, vintage and elegant styles. It was so much fun bringing in the John Keats poem with the navy blue, peach and stars at a beautiful venue complete with horses! A few highlights from the shoot are:
- my daughter Sadie as the "flower girl" baby model and wearing the most perfect headband that Karen from Something White suggested for her!
- an 80 degree day in March, in Ohio! Amazing!
- our amazing models -- Curtis and Laura, who both work at Walden. Laura is recently engaged now and will make a beautiful bride, don't you think?!
- meeting and working with some awesome vendors who I had not worked with yet (and some old friends too!)
- last but not least ----> having our shoot featured on the most visited wedding blog, Style me Pretty!!! click here to see our feature.
