You know your job is cut out for you as wedding planner when the hashtag for the day is #weddingofthegods! Lisa and Ryan are both medical doctors and Ryan's nickname at the hospital is "Dr. God". I guess there will be two Dr. Gods now at the hospital!
But did the day ever live up to the hashtag; it was simply divine!! My favorite moment of the day: when Lisa walked down that amazing marble staircase at the Old Courthouse. We had been keeping the song a secret from Ryan, because Lisa wanted to surprise him. When the theme song to Friday Night Lights kicked in, and Lisa came down that staircase on her father's arm... the look on Ryan's face... that moment was indescribable. It's why I love this job!!
This wedding day was full of gorgeous decor details as well: stationery for guests to leave their "prescriptions for love", bold striped runners that infused the room with a modern twist, a white and gold balloon wall photobooth backdrop, special sequin linens shipped in from Chicago...
