Katie and Ryan’s September wedding was a day full of love with touches from the cities they love- Cleveland and Tremont! Katie and Ryan chose St. John Cantius Catholic Church in Tremont for their ceremony that was near the home they use to live in. After the ceremony, guests made their way downtown to the Wyndham Hotel in Cleveland while Katie, Ryan, and their bridal party rode in a BVIP Limousine for pictures around the city, including the famous Cleveland sign!

As guests arrived for cocktail hour, Nate Jones from Cleveland Music Group played live on his guitar and uplighting from Rock the House made the room glow with beautiful amber lighting. Combinations of gorgeous blush and ivory centerpieces from The Budding Tree were the focal point as guests entered the ballroom. Champagne and ivory linens from Event Source draped the guest tables, while a nude sequin linen covered the cake table.  On top of the cake table was a four tier cake from A Cookie and A Cupcake, one of Katie and Ryan’s favorite places to go in Tremont!

After dinner service, Katie and Ryan enjoyed a romantic first dance that  Kelly Crews Photography captured.  DJ Daniel Cormeier from Cleveland Music Group had guests dancing for the rest of the night. This amazing day ended with a dance floor full of guests enjoying a late night pizza snack!

Caitrin and Jacob live in San Francisco but wanted an outdoorsy and homey feel for their wedding. They chose Jacob's family farm in Bath, Ohio (home of LeBron James!) for their outdoor, lakefront ceremony and tented reception. Their main focus first of all was on the food! They went with a farm-to-table menu custom created for them by Spice of Life catering. The aroma from the cook tent was unbelievable and the atmosphere had the feel of a very fancy backyard BBQ! The bar was also important to the couple so they went with Happy Camper, a vintage airstream camper turned into a bar! How fun was it to walk right up to the camper parked right in the backyard in between the tent and the cocktail hour veranda and order whatever your heart desired!? For a late night snack, local favorite, Swenson's food truck arrived with everyone's favorite treats from cheeseburgers to jalapeño poppers. I'm getting hungry just talking about this!

The style of the floral for the wedding was bohemian and colorful with deep tones of greens and burgundy. Fair Rarity Floral worked with Caitrin's father to create the beautiful bohemian-styled arch to hang above them as they said their nuptials. Just the right touch on the tables were the centerpieces and bud vases which Caitrin wanted to keep simple. The Duchess plates from Eventsource provided an amazing touch for the place settings. Willow and Wine created wood grain hand painted signs for the seating board, dessert station and welcome sign. It all worked perfectly with our outdoor atmosphere!

Among other special touches for the day included the bride and groom's dog named Tater, direct from San Francisco, acting as Ring Bearer. Also, Jacob's stepfather built the beautiful wooden rounded bar for cocktail hour that they can now keep it as use it for years to come! Instead of cake, Caitrin and Jacob went with pie from a local orchard, Rittman's. They also served another local favorite for ice cream, Jeni's! I can say with certainty that no one missed the cake since all of these decadent treats tasted like they came homemade right out of grandma's kitchen!

This wedding truly was one of the most fun and naturally beautiful events I can remember with such sweet family touches .I hope that the beauty of love of it all comes through in the gorgeous photography by Aster & Olive.

I’m a sucker for a good sunset and it certainly did not disappoint on the evening of Mikele and Jermaine’s wedding – especially from the rooftop of Ariel International Center!

The day began with an elegant ceremony at Severance Hall that was equally romantic and stunning.

After a few drops of rain cooled the evening, guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at Ariel, one of Cleveland’s most popular venues.  Keeping with the Bride’s neutral palette and classic style, Urban Orchid created a lovely floral landscape to soften Ariel’s ballroom.  Event Source provided beautiful linens and chairs to compliment the space and L’Nique’s gold chargers added the perfect amount of metallic infusion.

Guests feasted on an awesome menu from A Taste of Excellence and danced (and danced, and danced) the night away thanks to the DJs at Lo-Key who kept the entertainment fresh and exciting.  The wedding cake, that was exquisite in its simplicity, was the icing on the evening – as always, Luna Bakery never disappoints!

No wedding is complete without stationery! From the invitations to the fun specialty signage, Emily from Ting Stationery created the most lovely stationery suite to complement to décor perfectly!

A gorgeous, natural and lush styled wedding at historic hotel in downtown Cleveland!

Vibrant personalities from the couple shine through at this wedding with stunning stationery, a trendsetting guest book and overall absolutely drool-worthy portraits taken at Wade Lagoon at Cleveland Museum of Art.

When working with a bride who has a clear theme and style for her wedding, it is my absolute dream as a planner because the ideas, designs, and possibilities are endless! The picturesque Tudor Arms hotel that was renovated in recent years to restore the Tudor and Crystal ballrooms was the perfect choice for this gorgeous wedding. All-natural charm, metallic accents and deep jewel tones allowed for the flowers to pop against the royal setting. The natural linens coupled with the lush greens and bold rose and amaranthis floral accents added to the charm and breathtaking feel of the day.

The evening started with guests entering the ceremony to an elaborate floral and wooden masterpiece Chuppah by The Budding Tree. A unique thing we LOVED about this wedding was the guest book- guests signed postcards and pinned them into the pillowy board with greens and floral draped across the top! For the dinner and dancing portion of the evening, an eye-catching four tier cake from Luna Bakery could be seen displayed in the ballroom. This was such a memorable wedding day in every way, shape and form!

Congrats Matt and Jen!
