It's always a planner's dream to work with siblings from the same family. We already have a familiarity and understanding about who they are and what they hope to see at their weddings. Kelsey and Cam got married in October and I was fortunate enough to be Kelsey's sister's day of coordinator only months before that. I got to know Kelsey's insanely sweet parents throughout both weddings and I feel terribly lucky to have been a part of such wonderful weddings. Kelsey and Cam live in California so they wanted a rooftop, outdoor wedding ceremony overlooking the water at Ariel International Center. Naturally, this sounded amazing but in October in Cleveland? It turned out to be the most perfect, warm, sunny and calm day ever! Kelsey wanted to incorporate a cool ceremony back drop that she found at Borrow Rentals along with their beautiful rug used as an aisle runner. Guests headed downstairs for cocktail hour and then in to the reception. We added farm tables for the head table and more contemporary stationary to finish off the details. Kelsey and Cam offered guests Patterson Fruit Farm apple fritters which were her childhood favorite. I must admit, they were awesome! I'm still in shock that our weather was so beautiful that day but then again, I always say such lovely people deserve a beautiful weather day!
