I was privileged to meet Amanda and Ritam in May of 2008 and become involved with their wedding plans for August 8, 2009! To say that these two are some of the most detailed and efficient people I have ever met might be an understatement. They both work in the finance world, live in New York City and met through work. It is very easy to see why they are both so successful. They became romantically involved after being best friends first, which I think is the best way to do it! Besides that, Amanda, Ritam and their families are truly some of the kindest and most thoughtful people I have had the pleasure of working with.

Now on to the details:
We started on Thursday with a Hindu ceremony rehearsal, and then on to the church for a Catholic ceremony rehearsal.
On Friday, I had my assistants on board with me as we coordinated and managed the day for their Hindu ceremony and Indian reception at Signature of Solon. We love working here and Kirkbrides is pleased to be on their preferred vendor list. Alina from Party Decor of course did an amazing job with the Mandap, statues and other Indian decor, as always. The indian food, mango specialty drinks and indian dance troupe were entertaining for guests of all ages and backgrounds.
On Saturday, we were off to the Ritz Carlton to deliver the bouquets and bouttanieres for the "first look" at 9:45am, then managed the buses that picked up guests and took them to the church. You can see that the pictures still turned out beautiful despite the rain we had that day. The reception was unbelievably over the top and gorgeous, and all of the details with their love of resturants and fine dining are displayed below. We managed a New York style dining timeline for this day while the catering staff served courses mixed with toasts and even a half hour of dancing before the entrees were served. We were right on time down to the minute, which was no easy feat between the Ritz staff, the band and me.
Our locations were a slam dunk this weekend since we also love working with the staff at the Ritz (know all of the valet guys, the servers, and of course the wedding planners Casie and Theresa and love them!) and are pleased to be on the preferred vendor list here too!

Valarie and her team did an absolutely wonderful job for my wedding, and I would highly recommend them to any bride. Valarie is highly responsive and personable and made the planning process a joy. She seems to truly love what she does, which is reflected in the effort and personal details put into each of the weddings she plans.
