Double Happiness, Melody & Chee's Metropolitan Ballroom Wedding: June 5, 2010

September 29, 2010

Melody and I first met way back in May 2009 when one of her bridesmaids found the Kirkbrides site and we set up a meeting. It wasn't long before we started working together to find the perfect locations, hiring the vendors and creating the beautiful design for our June wedding day. Melody lived in Philadelphia during the planning so needed some extra help getting things planned in just the right way from afar.

Melody and Chee wanted to incorporate a little of their Chinese culture into their day, which we did by using the Double Happiness chinese symbol. You will see this on our dinner menus and on our cake topper! It was also on our glass coaster favors that doubled as escort cards for the guests.

Marisa from Imagen Photography provided us with these absolutely gorgeous images. Grande Designs did the bright and creative floral pieces and Phyllis Lester mastered the beautiful and delicious wedding cake! Note the cake sitting on water, as that was something we all collaborated on to get it to work properly.

Although my blog post is a bit late from our super busy 2010 wedding season (and it's still going!), it was a pleasure, M&C, and I wish you double happiness in the future!!!
