Caitrin and Jacob live in San Francisco but wanted an outdoorsy and homey feel for their wedding. They chose Jacob's family farm in Bath, Ohio (home of LeBron James!) for their outdoor, lakefront ceremony and tented reception. Their main focus first of all was on the food! They went with a farm-to-table menu custom created for them by Spice of Life catering. The aroma from the cook tent was unbelievable and the atmosphere had the feel of a very fancy backyard BBQ! The bar was also important to the couple so they went with Happy Camper, a vintage airstream camper turned into a bar! How fun was it to walk right up to the camper parked right in the backyard in between the tent and the cocktail hour veranda and order whatever your heart desired!? For a late night snack, local favorite, Swenson's food truck arrived with everyone's favorite treats from cheeseburgers to jalapeño poppers. I'm getting hungry just talking about this!

The style of the floral for the wedding was bohemian and colorful with deep tones of greens and burgundy. Fair Rarity Floral worked with Caitrin's father to create the beautiful bohemian-styled arch to hang above them as they said their nuptials. Just the right touch on the tables were the centerpieces and bud vases which Caitrin wanted to keep simple. The Duchess plates from Eventsource provided an amazing touch for the place settings. Willow and Wine created wood grain hand painted signs for the seating board, dessert station and welcome sign. It all worked perfectly with our outdoor atmosphere!

Among other special touches for the day included the bride and groom's dog named Tater, direct from San Francisco, acting as Ring Bearer. Also, Jacob's stepfather built the beautiful wooden rounded bar for cocktail hour that they can now keep and use for years to come! Instead of cake, Caitrin and Jacob went with pie from a local orchard, Rittman's. They also served another local favorite for ice cream, Jeni's! I can say with certainty that no one missed the cake since all of these decadent treats tasted like they came homemade right out of grandma's kitchen!

This wedding truly was one of the most fun and naturally beautiful events I can remember with such sweet family touches. I hope that the beauty of love of it all comes through in the gorgeous photography by Aster & Olive.
