When Allison and Chad walked into the newly renovated Ritz Ballroom fully set for their wedding, Allison looked and me through the happiest tears and cried “This is the wedding I have dreamed about since I was a little girl!  I couldn’t have done it without you! You made my dreams come true!”  Talk about warming my heart to the max!

The day began with a beautiful and emotional ceremony at New Apostolic Church in Parma.  The soft combination of blush and champagne florals with bright greenery welcomed guests and gave a small taste of what was to come later in the evening.

When guests arrived at the Ritz for cocktails, they were greeted with scrumptious small bites and the lovely piano music of Jonathan Hooper.  Place cards were set on a lovely mirrored table from All Occasions.  The family photo tree was a creative alternative to a family photo table, and was the showpiece of cocktail hour.

We created a fun floor plan in the ballroom by mixing square and round tables, draped in the gorgeous charisma ivory linen and sequin nude linens from Event Source.  The tabletop details, including gold salad and dinner plates and stunning orrizonte chargers, finished the look and added fun intrigue to the elegant backdrop.  The chameleon chairs were really the icing on the cake to complete the look.

Speaking of cake – the stunning design from Michelangelo’s was an absolute showstopper with over the top detailing!  I am in love with the varying tier heights – such a fun detail.

Arne from Blooms worked with us to create the most luscious floral décor.  I was (and still am) speechless when I look at the lovely centerpieces that captured Allison’s vision impeccably. Can you believe the glass orbs dripping from the Ritz’s chandeliers?  The room was glowing!

Allison and Chad’s head table is one of my favorite details, with a softly draped backdrop, mirror tables from All Occasions and the lovely triomphe chairs from Event Source.  The look was not complete without tons of candles to add even more glow to the room.

While the main focus was blush and rose gold, we incorporated subtle hints of blue (thanks to Chad’s suggestion) in the napkins and the stationery, designed by Valarie Falvey, to add an attractive pop of color.

Allison, Chad, their family and friends were such fun, which is palpable in the amazing photography and videography from Rob at RAD (also, don’t miss the Go Pro on the bottle of Fireball – I am still waiting on my copy of that video)! Guests danced the night away to the upbeat, fresh sound of Sunrise Jones, one of my favorite bands, and snacked on late night bites from The Ritz and tantalizing macrons from Luna.

One of my favorite memories of Allison and Chad’s wedding comes a few days after the wedding when I stopped by the father of the bride’s dental office.  Leftover centerpieces adorned Dr. Kraig’s waiting room and in that moment my heart filled with warmth yet again.  This family savors every minute and every detail of life and I loved seeing the beautiful reminder of Allison and Chad’s stunning wedding day carry on in the days to follow.
