July 9th 2016 was an exciting day for Kirkbrides... not only because we had an amazing wedding but because it was at Cedar Point!  Stephanie and Joe chose the Cedar Point Lakeside Pavilion for their stunning 350 guest wedding reception which was the perfect setting for Stephanie’s water front wedding vision.

After a beautiful Catholic ceremony at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Sandusky, guests entered the Cedar Point gates for an evening they would never forget! With the pavilion having three bays, the wedding utilized two of them to create two areas, one for cocktail hour and one for dinner. Rock the House created two stunning spaces with white drapery sheer enough to expose the beautiful Lake Erie view. In the cocktail hour bay, guests were greeted with comfortable lounge furniture and a fun black and white checkered dance floor rented form Event Source. Featured on top of the dance floor was an amazing 3 tier wedding cake topped with white orchids and roses created by Wendy Kromer.

Once Stephanie and Joe cut their cake, guests moved into the dinning room. Guests were blown away to see the area full of round and rectangular dining tables with a variety of centerpieces created by Mandy from Petal Pushers. The centerpieces consisted of a variety of different shaped and height gold vases filled with greens and an assortment of white flowers.  Surrounding the vases were a mixture of different sized gold candles to create a unique look for each table.

As dinner came to an end, the sounds of the Bluewater Kings Band could be heard from the cocktail area which was ready for guests to dance the night away. Rock the House completely transformed the space with lighting while Style and Story captured the guests having a blast! Before the night came to an end, guests enjoyed ice cream from the Toft’s ice cream cart, a nod to Stephanie’s grandfather and Skyline Chili Dogs, a personal favorite of Stephanie and Joe’s. There is no other way to end a perfect wedding day at Cedar Point!
