Maria and Jim’s backyard wedding reception was absolutely stunning! And so much fun to

plan! When working with families that have chosen their private residence as the reception

location, it is my dream as a planner because the ideas, designs, and possibilities are endless!

Maria’s family home was the perfect choice for this gorgeous wedding which was all about

family and fun!

The evening started with guests entering the home to an amazing floral piece by Plantscaping

by Blooms surrounded by escort cards from Valarie Falvey from Kirkbrides. Guests walked

through the home where they were greeted by Maria looking stunning with hair and makeup

done my Charles Scott Salon, and Jim, who didn’t look to bad either in his black suit and bow

tie. The patio was the location for cocktail hour where guests could enjoy a cocktail and yummy

hors d oeuvres from Dante and Executive Caterers. The mood of cocktail hour was a quaint

Italian side café with string lighting form Rock the House and Music by Cleveland music group.

As cocktail hour ended guests made their way into the stunning tent by Advance Tent

Solutions. A beautiful floral chandelier hung over the dance floor provided by Event Source and

drapery hung throughout the tent by Party Decor. As guests walked through the tent, TCB from

Cleveland Music Group played and guests awed over the gorgeous tablescapes. Floor length

natural linens with Monaco chargers and blush napkins were the perfect combination to go

with the oakwood farm chairs all rented from Event Source.

From the main tent, an eye-catching four tier cake from White Flower could be seen displayed

in the pool house atrium window. In the pool house more guest dining seating could be found.

Advanced Tent Solutions covered the pool with flooring to create an extra dining space to

accommodate all 350 guests. Emily, from Emily Millay Photography was there to capture all of

tent and pool house details, while Scott, from CandyApple Films caught the highlights of the

evening on film.

As the evening came to an end, guests could be found in the lounge tent. This tent was

attached to the pool house and was a masculine designed area where guests could grab a

drink, smoke a cigar, or just relax on the lounge furniture provided by Borrow Rentals.
